Creating your own roller ball blends is easy and convenient.

From illness to happiness to sinus issues, these recipes have been created to provide you with sinus relief, inspiration or even motivation. I’ve discovered a few blends that have proved to be beneficial for myself and I hope you find them useful too. These 7 essential oil roller ball recipes are easy to make and can be put in a purse or bag for quick access.

Supplies:

-Glass roller ball vial

-Various essential oils

-Witch hazel

-Carrier Oil

It’s important to use glass roller ball vials due to the fact that essential oil can eat through plastic after awhile. I’m sure it takes a long time but why not just start with the best. I recommend these roller balls or these if you don’t already have some.

You’ll need to fill the bottles about 3/4 full with the witch hazel, then add about a 1/4 tsp of carrier oil. This can be pretty much anything of your choosing. Popular ones include coconut oil, almond oil, jojoba oil.

What type of oil you use really depends on your preferences. Making your own products gives you a flexibility you can’t find in stores.

Finally you’ll be adding in your essential oils. After reassembling the roller ball, give it a little shake to mix things up. Below you’ll find all the recipes. Happy creating!

1. Motivation

There are times when we need a little extra motivation to finish strong and I have found this recipe quite helpful.

  • 5 drops Lavender

  • 2 drops Lime

  • 2 drops Sweet Orange

  • 1 drop Black Pepper

2. Sinus Relief

I use this combination quite often when I feel an ear infection coming on. I just roll a little behind my ears and slightly down my neck and it does the trick every time.

  • 4 drops Lavender

  • 2 drops Eucalytpus

  • 1 drop Ginger

  • 1 drop Peppermint

3. Energy

Need a quick pick me up? This blend is perfect for a pre-workout boost.

  • 4 drops Sweet Orange

  • 3 drops Lime

  • 3 drops Lemon

  • 2 drops Geranium

  • 1 drop Rosemary

4. Stress Relief

When you need to take a break and take a breath, use this to calm that nervous energy into peaceful energy.

  • 4 drops Lavender

  • 3 drops Sweet Orange

  • 3 drops Geranium

  • 2 drops Vetiver

  • 2 drops Copaiba

5. Sleeplessness

When we get good sleep, we function better and we think more clearly. Use this blend to help you catch those so needed zzz’s. Tip: Rub it on the bottom of your feet before going to bed.

  • 5 drops Lavender

  • 3 drops Sweet Orange

  • 3 drops Chamomile

  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang

  • 2 drops Frankincense
