How about an all natural DIY eye make up remover recipe?
Well, yea…that’s why you’re here, right? This one is full of nourishing goodies such as essential oils, infused safflower oil and even a little aloe vera gel.
It’s so important to have a regular skin care regimen. Our skin absorbs an enormous amount of toxins from the atmosphere as well as the lotions and make-up we use. Taking care of your skin, especially your face prevents break outs and helps with aging.
Using an all-natural eye make-up remover is sooooo much better for you than the store bought kind. Not only do you save money, you know exactly what’s in it.
What You’ll Need
Various Essential oils
Aloe Vera Gel
Each of these ingredients has it’s own wonderful benefits. Witch hazel is fantastic for toning the skin. Safflower oil is an oil that won’t clog pores. Lavender is good for hair, skin, and nails. Rosemary is good for hair strength and growth so you may see an improvement in your eyelashes.
Carrot Seed and Geranium are great for wrinkles. Sweet Orange helps with toning and smells amazing. Tea Tree is often used for acne. Aloe Vera Gel provides moisture and is soothing for the skin.
Our skin is the largest organ of our body and it’s super important to use all-natural ingredients. This recipe was formulated for all skin types.
DIY Eye Make-Up Remover Recipe
1/4 cup Witch Hazel
1/8 cup distilled or spring water
1 1/4 tsp Calendula Infused Safflower oil (if you don’t have infused oil, just use plain safflower oil)
1 tsp Aloe Vera Gel
1 tsp Baby Wash
2 drops Lavender essential oil
1 drops Tea Tree essential oil
1 drop Carrot Seed essential oil
-Put all ingredients into bottle, put lid on and give a little shake to mix all the goodness. Apply to a cotton round or cotton ball. While the ingredients are generally non-toxic be careful not to get any in the eyes. I do recommend a little shake before each use.
That’s all there is to it. Making your own beauty products is fun and affordable. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Have a blessed day!
