A warm bath is such a simple way to treat yourself after a stressful day. Maybe light a scented candle or put on relaxing music and you’re on way to a little “me” time. Currently, I am a little under the weather and a warm bath sounds so perfect. It’s a little form of therapy right at home.

All of these bath soaks include Epsom salts. Epsom salts are truly one of the best products you can use in your life. From treating sore muscles to reducing stress and detoxifying the body, they are worth keeping stocked up on.

As a Christian mom and wife, I often treat my family to foot soaks. I love the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet ( John 13:1-17). I try to pattern my actions after this.

In the days of the Bible, they usually wore sandals and the roads were made of dirt, not gravel or concrete as what today’s roads are made of. Hence, the people’s feet would get very dirty and therefore washing the feet is an act of servant hood. Something special to treat weary travelers.

I love spoiling my family with these soaks to show them that I love them. It is an act of servant hood and that might seem a little strange to some people but I don’t think of myself as their servant like a maid. I am simply imitating the actions of Christ where He served His Heavenly Father.

The Bible tells us to do all things with excellence as unto God and this is my holy act unto my Savior. And my family loves it. I mean, who wouldn’t love a luxurious foot soak, right?

When you’re ready to take your bath, mix all ingredients together in a bowl and then pour into your tub. Give a little swirl and enjoy.

Remember, when you get out of the tub, be careful, it might be a little slippery.
